The Singing Revolution will open on April 18th at the Landmark E Street Cinema in Washington, DC! (Click here for theater info: http://www.singingrevolution.com/cgi-local/screenings.cgi).
How it works for films such as this is that we're booked for 1 week, and if lots of people show up they hold us over for another week, then another week, and so on. So let's try and have a repeat of the success in NYC -- held over for 4 weeks. (Hey, even if it only plays on weekends we'll take it, and theaters only care about full theaters and that's what we gave them in NYC!)
This also happens to be the weekend of the U.S.-Baltic Foundation's annual gala, with honored guest Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves (nice coincidence! ;) ). So let's make the most of the Baltic buzz in DC that week! (http://www.usbaltic.org/gala2008.php)
We have theaters in several other cities as well, we're just trying to lock down the exact opening dates. March/April/May will be big months for releases. The film will be coming to: SAN FRANCISCO, CHICAGO, BOSTON, SEATTLE, PORTLAND,OR, CHICAGO, TORONTO, VANCOUVER and many more cities, we'll keep you posted....
