The film is getting great exposure in North America, but we're also currently working on distribution for Europe, Australia & Asia. We're approaching television stations in all markets, and if you're up for it, here's a way to help bring the film to your country...
We've asked our sales representative for a list of some key TV stations we're in discussions with. If you see a station that you receive at home, then call the programming office at that station and tell them you'd like to see a documentary you've heard about play on their station. Be sure to give them the name of the film (The Singing Revolution) and the website www.singingrevolution.com.
Just as with the theaters in North America, you'd be amazed at the impact 10-20 calls can make!

This is one of the most amazing and riveting films I've ever seen. I'd love my family and friends to see it in Australia.

I am so glad you are getting the film to Australia. We have relatives there who are interested in their Estonian roots and I have wondered what would be the best way to give them something inspiring. This is it!
I presume it will first come to major cities such as Adelaide, Victoria and Perth - all places where we have some relatives from different branches of our family tree.

Just watching the trailer was inspirational in itself!
In light of the recent election protests in Iran, this would be a great film to give them a new approach to the dictatorship of the mullahs. They would have the same consternation as the Soviets about how to deal with the people only singing.

Hey Jarey - totally agree. And another key would be to keep the world press watching, then they really couldn't crack down the same way on it. It's always shocking to learn what totalitarian regimes can get away with when the rest of the world isn't paying attention...
