"The Singing Revolution" will be broadcast on television in the Orange County/LA area THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 9th ON PBS STATION KOCE AT 7:00PM! It's part of the KOCE pledge drive, so they're as motivated as we are to make the U.S. television premiere a success.
KOCE will be giving music CD's and DVD's of "The Singing Revolution" film to contributors who call in to make a pledge while the film is playing. So, if you are someone who contributes to PBS, please consider making your donation during the pledge drive while "The Singing Revolution" airs. That way other stations will be encouraged all the more to share this amazing story!
TSR Filmmaker James Tusty will join KOCE host and news anchor Ed Arnold, along with two other special guests from the Estonian-American community, Tiiu Leek and Edgar Kaskla. Tiiu Leek is an award-winning Estonian-American TV news anchor, reporter and actress. Edgar Kaskla is an Estonian-American political science professor at CA State University who witnessed events shown in "The Singing Revolution" during extended visit to Estonia in 1989.
If we can make this pledge drive for KOCE a success, it will highly motivate other PBS stations around the country to play the film in the same way. So please spread the word to your friends and family about the film's U.S. television premiere in California on PBS station KOCE this Thursday, April 9th at 7:00pm!
Thanks!
